if you haven’t seen it, might wanna give it a try. he does some amazing stuff in interviews while pretending to be clueless.

not one of the best interviews, but still funny (all quotes approximate): he interviews an economist from the carter and johnson administrations. after asking why we have all those queers on american money (showing a picture of george washington and saying he’s an obvious fairy, which looks very funny with him saying that), he seriously posits the idea that we shouldn’t have $20 bills, $100 bills, whatever. instead we should have, for example, a $56.14 bill — exact change for your purchases.
the economist takes him seriously during all this (he gets away with it because of his foreign rapper boy deal), and says, “yes, but what if what you were buying weren’t $56.14, but $56.15 instead?” trying to help.
to explain the stock market, the economist says, “okay, i have an idea for a new toy that i want to sell…”
ali G: “oh, that’s excellent! what is it?”
you have to see him at a DC abortion protest — two sweet old ladies singing “we shall overcome” while ali G stands next to them. feeling the moment, he breaks into human beat box in time with the song. unreal. they just keep singing like they’re happy he’s so into it.
it’s a hard show to get into, because it looks so pointless, but requires attention to appreciate. have to tell yourself to drop everything. even then, many people won’t like it.

haha dude, I am watching that episode right now… this guy is a genious. how does he keep a straight face the whole time? and how do people actually take him serious?! (do you know what this episode is called?)

no, i haven’t seen it since. still want to see his george bush drinks the blood video. need to see if it’s out yet. haven’t heard anything.
