as i live and breathe
this one had me at ‘hello’. hahahahaha. first noticed joanne whalley in the man who knew too little, where she played lorelei (‘lori’ to her pals), the defense minister’s call girl. i don’t know what it is about people, but anybody watching that movie and not sensing the top-notch comedy 
performances all around is a bloody nuttah. i think that was when bill murray started to hit the stratosphere, flexing his cinematic muscle. great stuff.
okay, so back to joanne whalley. it’s too bad i didn’t find better pictures of her. she seems to be the typical girl 
who i think’s a knockout and nobody else does, but she was in people magazine’s 1991 50 mostest something or other list. i dunno — it’s strange that she’s not more popular in movies. sure does it for me. and wouldn’t it just make her day knowing that?
