Astounding, immoral, exploitative price gouging at Radio Shack

recommended — andy stedman

a stellar post by one of the exceptional bright lights at no-treason.com (take “exceptional” literally):

…So why didn’t you buy the cable from them instead of Radio Shack? Oh yes, it was because you “needed” the cable that day, and Radio Shack had gone to the trouble of shipping one, in advance, to a physical store convenient to you, on the off chance that you might need one. Then they staffed it with a couple of employees so that the store could be open for your convenience, and you could walk in with $40 and out with the cable. Wasn’t that nice of them? If only you could make them do it for free…
