Borane anticipated militia violence
In 2002, as a foreshadowing of things to come, Douglas Mayor Ray Borane drafted a resolution that opposed militia groups and vigilantism along the border here.
“These groups create nothing but hate and antagonism,” Borane said. “And one day they are going to hurt someone or they are going to create a problem.”
hey, that’s a damn good description of government. i like that.
Nearly two years later, in a Safeway parking lot, a member of a Arizona Guard, a Douglas-based militia group that opposes illegal immigration and advocates for property rights, was shot by the FBI.According to the FBI, action taken by Casey Nethercott, 37, and Kalen Riddle, 22, led one of the agents to fire his weapon on Riddle, who was wounded. Riddle was transported to a Tucson hospital where is in uncertain condition.
“This type of violence was bound to happen,” Borane said. “It was just a matter of time before someone got hurt.”
that borane! always there with a quote. good man. um, tell me again who shot who? worthless, prostrate news media.
“His arrest on Wednesday comes from his alleged assault on a federal officer. His anger knows no bounds,” Borane said.As a result, Borane has suggested that law enforcement take cadaver dogs out to the compound just for a check.
“If he(Nethercott) threatened a federal officer , imagine what he would have done to a migrant,” Borane said.
“I’m not saying there is anything out there of that nature, but you never know, given this groups’ history,” he said.
just as good a reason for shoving a big flashlight up your ass, borane. and what would we find? whatdya know — it’s xavier zaragoza of the daily dispatch! how did ol’ xavier find his way in there?
weird thing with all these government anti-militia types is that everything they say usually describes themselves. except for the “compound” part. only people trying to live without government live in “compounds”. man, the government lawyers at the trial of the waco survivors couldn’t say that word enough. bunker. compound. hate. cult.
george orwell, you magnificent bastard.
