libertarian girl — genius
after reading micha ghertner’s take on the LG mystery, i went back to “her” site (that i’d ignored since writing about her) and had a fresh look.
this post has convinced me of a few things:
- “libertarian girl” (LG) is most likely a guy.
- LG is very intelligent and funny.
- LG will have the last laugh when (if) this is exposed for what it really is.
i’m gonna go out on a limb and say that LG is tim swanson. the links on LG’s blog are too out of proportion to the ditzfest displayed there around the clock. and what the hell would a genuine LG be doing hanging around the mises blog, to name just one. i saw her in there posting now and then, and cringed each time. so awful.
this is exactly tim swanson’s sort of humor, and he’s smart enough to pull it off. i’d love to know how wazoo got tipped to this. probably whoever the genius behind the LG scam is couldn’t take it any longer and asked for help ending it. can you imagine having to talk like that for almost 2 months? ROFL

Could be Swanson, that crossed my mind. I also thought it might be foadi of anti-state.com. But while he has the ability to do it I doubt he’d have sustained the hoax this long.
