after the classic setup and failure, listen to the moron talking about how he had “a AD” — bullshit speak (“Accidental Discharge”) for “i’m a fuckup.” it also sounds like somebody asks, “did you have one in the chamber?” the stooge replies, “yep,” before trying to make himself sound like one of an acceptable club by using the “AD” dodge. people can talk that nonsense all they want, but i argue that it was not an accidental discharge. could there have been a more easily preventable firing? ha! he apparently verified “empty weapon” with somebody else when the slide was back, but like most people who don’t have respect for guns, it was simply a step for show. the vid’s a big pile of documented, monumentally stupid human action in full swing (wearing a DEA vest). i wouldn’t be surprised if he’d done something wrong with the mag, along with his many other screwups. and he tells the kids that accidents happen. (sound familiar?)

that brings up an important question: what was to have been the purpose of his “presentation”? i think that’s far more important than the laughable disaster that the presentation became. what is he doing talking about guns in front of a bunch of kids? what is really gained by him attempting to show an AR-style rifle to kids? the real point of all this type stuff, and i recall it well from when i was a kid, is to show off; it’s government flexing its muscles and preening as if it has magic powers unattainable by mere mortals. anybody who thinks, even when executed as intended, that it’s “education” is just going through motions set in play by generations before him, no thinking involved. to suppose that kids will react as intended to this “education” is far worse. however, both layers are implied by anybody stupid enough to engage in this window dressing malarkey. even though they don’t understand it consciously, i think they get it behaviorally. go in there, flex muscles, put on a show, teach kids that everybody but them is boss, and a little slice of the pie is enhanced.

obviously, there’s a strong anti-gun bent to the anti-safety demo (anti-safety even if executed as “planned”), but job security is the real purpose. that’s really what the baloney’s about. and each cog, from the bottom to the top, gets that truth to the extent necessary for its specific level of function. look at how hard the hammer drops on any non-government puke who fucks away gun safety. anybody with a brain would understand immediately that cops, of all people, should be judged the harshest given their positions. but what happens? they are sheltered by brother and sister fuckups worshiping at the shrine of “there but for the grace of god go i.”

with that longer horizon in mind, that vid is probably the best depiction of “government” you could ever find. it’s of an incident publicized last year, but there are plenty more of these situations to go around. cops are typically among the worst when it comes to handling guns. arrogant, disabled freaks. among the many similar vids out there is the classic female las vegas douchebag who missed shooting a guy in the head by about 2″ because she was doing that standard cop dance, pointing a gun at somebody who posed no threat. (right before she fired, the gun had been pointed at her “partner”.) man, that’s a subject for an entire article, the endless pointing of guns by those pricks.

oh, and i’ll bet there’s no way that affirmative action plays a part in any of the fuckups. ROFLMAO.

BTW, several of the discussions about this last year (without seeing the video, apparently) got the details wrong. the gun wasn’t fired when he released the slide; it was fired when he was trying to relock the slide back after he’d released it while pointing it at the ceiling just before talking about what a badass he was. locking a slide back is a difficult maneuver if there’s no empty magazine, and i think he pulled the trigger as he tried, perhaps even with his weak hand.

though his trigger finger was outside the trigger guard as he held the gun up for display, i suspect either that changed as he tried to relock the slide back, or fingers from his shifting weak hand (left) pulled the trigger. from the fuzzy video i’m able to make out, it looks very much as though his left hand wrapped over the gun so much that one of those fingers pulled the trigger from the far side as he tried to push the slide back. all in all, a very sloppy deal, made even worse by his apparent subsequent continuation with that illegal federal chumptown known as DEA.

hey, DEA: after this incident, you let that jive-talking dipshit carry a loaded gun around while i get the shit hassled out of me at every turn and can’t even legally carry an unloaded gun in “my” state? up yours. you’re all criminals. you are the enemy. fuck you. fuck you. fuck you.

those kids had the right idea when he tried to pull out a semi-automatic rifle (right after he said, “okay, now i’ll probably never ever be able to show guns again…”). they shouted him down. the guy who’d just shot himself with an “empty weapon” less than 2 minutes before shouted to the crowd in reply, “hey hey hey hey ho ho hoh… it’s okay; it’s an empty weapon, guys.” well, they told him to fuck himself. and when they get older, most of those same kids will believe that only cops should have guns. is that some powerful shit government spews or what? don’t know how anybody buys it, but i know that they do. who else could get away with action like this and still go around carrying a gun while people far better equipped to carry are scoffed at, maligned, and taken to the edge of the grave for defending what they not only know to be true, but what they can also prove objectively.

i have demonstrated competence my entire gun-owning career, and i’m kicked around by the state. something wrong with that situation maybe?
