blood-and-blame "journalism"
As you may have noticed, an awful lot of pregnant women are being threatened and killed these days. Not just in New York, but all across the country. In rare cases, they’re killed by a crazy lady who wants the baby for herself. In most cases, though, all you need to do is find the boyfriend. …
what constitutes an “awful lot” of anything? is the theory that one pregnant woman murdered is an awful lot? okay, then it’s correct in angle, if not in grammar. otherwise, i want to see some backup to this glib assumption. it’s been discussed enough to mark as ignorant anybody spouting off without further justification.
the article cited at the top was overtly flippant, so maybe it doesn’t matter. however, it gets back to something i’ve been wondering for many years: how are supposed advocates for women contributing to the welfare of women by spewing perpetual victimhood sanctimony? they are not doing anything but fucking over women as a class, including many who aren’t even born yet. unfortunately, i have witnessed “domestic violence” directly several times, and in each case the woman played a strong role in bringing about, actively, the result. oh, but you can’t even begin to utter such things, can you? it’s against the religion of the helplessness indoctrinators.
i say “bullshit”. i tried comforting a bloodied woman once, as she told me she’d struck her boyfriend to begin the fight. i cried later that morning just thinking about it. seeing her behavior afterward, i strongly regretted ever giving a shit. the worst DV beating i ever saw was instigated quite actively by the woman who eventually got what she fought quite hard for. if she’d signed a contract asking to be attacked, it couldn’t have been more direct. i’m to the point where i say fuck them both.
“Passive-aggressive” is the name psychologists give to people who develop ingenious ways to torture those around them without ever being self-assertive.

can one honestly claim to be interested in solving a problem while strenuously distorting its nature from the outset? DV has become the secondary civil religion of quacks, and a turnstile of guaranteed employment for all manner of hooligans whose actions merely stoke the madness. as with primary civil religion, the result is destruction. half of the world’s population has been set up as natural victims, with the other half as natural aggressors. going to write more on this later; i saved some shocking (to me) verbiage last fall from a montana DV-baiting org.
the truth that the DV baiters want to remain hidden: both parties are usually very sick. often both parties are physically violent. responsibility, however, gets nailed on principle to the physically stronger party. yes, the article quoted at the top is correct in one thing: when someone is murdered, sexual partners are natural suspects. however, until “news” orgs state just as brazenly that when a child is abused one should look to the mother, they should abandon the constant male bashing, or just shut the fuck up. pretending that men compose a monopoly on, or even a larger share of, warped, neurotic/psychotic action is fucking ludicrous. if only it did no damage.

While all but one of the DV instances that I’ve witnessed were almost, if not completely, the fault of the male, I no doubt realize the aggressive role of females in many instances.
“Journalists” who distort such issues like this should be exposed as the dishonest, agenda driven schmucks that they are.

howdy, freeman. not sure how you describe “fault”, but i’d be careful ascribing 100% fault to any party in any situation. not that it’s impossible, but relationships are usually damned complicated, don’t ya think?

Ah, but you’ve never met any of the males in my family. The only reason why I turned out relatively OK is that I made sure not to emulate any of them in any way.
Aside from not taking into account some of the abnormal trash in my family (some of whom wear the rebel flag clothing solely because of the racist element), I’d say you’re correct about placing the blame solely on one side.
