clancy brown

clancy brown is cool. he played the psycho bad guy (“the kurgan”) in highlander, and was an important character in the adventures of buckaroo banzai across the 8th dimension, one of his first movies. in highlander, his voice sounded so tough that it was used on the queen album with the songs from the movie (it’s a kind of magic).

didn’t know until today that clancy brown is the voice of mr. krabs, one of my favorite characters from SpongeBob SquarePants! haha. can’t believe i missed that all these years of SpongeBob’ing.

    Clancy Brown was also the guard in Shawshank Redemption. I understand that he does a lot of cartoon voices.

    I always thought that the Kurgan would be an awesome Halloween costume. I’d just have to shave my head and buy a sword.
