idaho legislature on crack

being a napoleon dynamite fan, i saw this bit the other day about the idaho “legislature”‘s recent flatulence regarding the movie. it seemed obvious blog material, and yet…

carina at An Inclination to Criticize puts it well.

I’m torn: is this a horrible waste of taxpayers’ money (in legislators’ time– no award accompanied the commendation) or is this exactly the sort of harmless nonsense we should encourage them to stick to?
