Read the “feminist” ramblings on a blog that was part of the Lincoln (NE) Journal-Star. The reporter tossed out the knee-jerk rhetoric typically devoid of any research.

The old “females paid 75-percent of male pay” and other misconceptions tossed around until the brain-dead masses accept the rhetoric as gospel truth.

I left a comment to that written rhetoric telling of many exceptions including common incidents wherein females often earn more than males for the same or similar work.

I also mentioned that the “75-percent” statistic includes the earnings of females who purposefully work only part-time and that many more females work part-time than do males.

Also included were a few statistics comparing male versus female on-the-job injury and death rates. Males are harmed on the job immensely more than females due to the types of work performed. I included the tendency for males to suffer later in life from job-related wear-and-tear on the body; hearing loss due to noisy work environments, chronic back problems due to heavy physical labor, a multitude of maladies that males pay dearly for to achieve that extra 25-percent earnings gap.

I omitted the horde of American males dead and maimed from serving in various wars across the years since that factoid was not directly related to my rebuttal but it IS something to consider.

So… what was the result of my endeavor? My post was deleted. Poof. Gone. Bye bye without a comment. Left behind were a multitude of comments, the majority by females, all of which agreed with what the female reporter babbled upon her newspaper Web site-based blog.

Oh well… just another day in the USA with the propaganda reigning supreme, the knee-jerk rhetoric elbowing aside an opposing viewpoint based upon facts, data and statistics.

um, you meant “greatest stuff”, right? hell, i’d say that article’s worth at least $2,500.
