when talking about killing "the president" be sure to idolize the state somewhere in there

COLUMN: 10 reasons not to kill Bush is getting attention via drudge. oooh — somebody who doesn’t like bush talking about killing him (well, not killing him).

the author is on the ball in recognizing in many of her items that killing bush would be the worst thing a hater of bush’s “policies” could do. but item #10 is off the chart in its stupidity.

10) Slaying President Bush is simply immoral. Anyone who advocates purposefully killing someone defenseless (and a democratically elected leader, no less) is clearly value-challenged. I don’t understand the logical contortions some people must go through to be anti-death penalty yet pro-assassination.

the most heavily defended person in… the world is “defenseless”? LMAO. then who’s not defenseless. this is how low the english language has sunk. words mean nothing. when speaking of a killing you find distasteful, throw in a “cold blooded”, a “he didn’t even have a chance”, and definitely a “defenseless”. doesn’t matter that it’s all stupido talk. people buy it. (hmmm. coincidence?)

how many people has this guy ordered the death of? and killing him would be “simply immoral”? oh please. how many children were killed by this asshole’s bull-headed petulance? if it’s under 5,000, i’ll register to vote. it’s okay though, because he didn’t pull the triggers and drop the bombs. hell, even dropping the bomb is enough disconnection for most dumbasses (average american).

re “the logical contortions some people must go through to be anti-death penalty yet pro-assassination”, it’s no worse than the illogic required to call yourself an advocate of “liberalism” (from the latin liber, meaning “free”), but every goddamned one of your proposals for human interaction involves chains and a gun.

When I read this article yesterday the first thing that came to my mind was that an offer of a duel from Saddam to Bush was rejected in ’02.
Imagine all that could have been rendered moot – 300 billion dollar price tag – tens of thousands of civilian dead and wounded – and the dead and wounded soldiers on both sides.
Then – to put the irony-meter off the charts – the bugger keeps Saddam’s pistol as a trophy.

vaughn, i’ve often thought of that duel proposal, but i never put it together with the extra-pussified move sporting hussein’s pistol about town already was. jeez, but it’s a nutcase world.

BTW, i’d be careful who you talk to about that duel offer. some bush supporters don’t like to be reminded of it. LMAO
