when looking into the 9/11 attacks, i’ve not seen much need to go beyond the obvious: blatant ineptitude (at least) by US government clods and goons. the 9/11 attacks were an obvious scam, no matter what conspiracy theory you accept (including the conspiracy theory pushed by the government). i’ve avoided most of the “9/11 truth movement” material, and it wasn’t until yesterday that i even saw video of WTC7 coming down. it was a shock.

i’m willing to accept for argument, just on the surface, the mild plausibility that the unique design of the north and south towers led to the near perfect implosive collapses everybody saw. but WTC7? c’mon. according to the US government’s conspiracy theory, there were fires on a couple of floors. and then… that?

i like the approach of this page, where the usual, breathless, teenaged geek, obvious bullshit air of many of the crap-o revisionists (i.e., loose change) is absent. and you can find links to a few WTC7 collapse vids. when i see that building just drop onto itself as if hammered from above by a broad pile driver, supposedly because of random fires, i say, “horse shit.”

could those three buildings have done the self-drop knockout we saw, purely because of random fires? i don’t know. i’m expert in none of the fields required for a full assessment. but i think it’s damned unlikely. planes didn’t fly into WTC7. there’s no similar experience in the history of the world, with a fire-damaged steel-framed building dropping onto itself like that? something’s damned rotten.

i’m starting to suspect that there are multiple layers of feint — a crazy combination of screwup and intentional, blatant lies that scream out, “no government agent in his right mind would do a thing so poorly.” it gets to the point where the more holes appear in the US government’s conspiracy theory, the more that’s pointed to as evidence that the US government wasn’t involved — supposedly all answered by the question, “what reason would government have to point fingers at itself?”

um, that one? i keep coming back to good ol’ cui bono, the “principle that probable responsibility for an act or event lies with one having something to gain”. and who has benefited the most from the 9/11 attacks? US government employees and their favored agents. the very day of the attacks, the sole entity that had dropped the ball completely became instantly the savior of the universe, according to the normalon scourge. “go forth with your sorry incompetence and conquer!”

that’s because the average idiot mistakes government for society. however, government makes no such mistake. it is a criminal racket, and everybody self-selecting into it knows the score.

but no, i’m not buying half the baloney most of the revisionist sites are spilling (e.g., the bogus claims of a “pod” on one of the WTC jets, the “mysterious flash” theory, or the multiple “possible” explanations offered which contradict evidence offered for other theories by the same lunatics). the pathetic loose change “documentary” appears to be the best sort of hyped trash a government conspiracy could hope for as cover. if anybody works for the CIA, i’d say it’s those stuff-assed bozos.

the answer to 9/11 is probably much simpler, and much more complicated. something is being missed, and i hope i live to see what it is. i don’t think incompetence explains the complete lack of military intervention on 9/11. there’s an answer. somehow, serendipity was in the hands of tyrants, and i think they embraced it even as it was happening. it may simply be that government simply let itself be government, without even realizing it. could a mass, unconscious acquiescence to foreknowledge have gripped those worthless bastards? it’s a gracious theory, of course, but might be the correct one. and after it was over, they swept up the dirty bits. as a monopoly, government has that unique power. and you’d better not get in the way.
