brian ragle, poser dumbass
who is brian ragle? just some typical socialist dumbass. you’ve probably never heard of him. however, since he published nonsense recently on his blog and it was pointed out to me, i decided to expose just what a lying, stupid-assed, worthless son of a hypocritical bootlicking bitch he is. it’ll be fun!
do you understand what i’m saying? my primary proposition here is that brian ragle is a hypocritical, worthless, son-of-a-bitch dumbass. so all you toadly ad hominem trend-o-blasters can kiss my black ass. this is abusive, non-fallacious ad hominem. more delicious, bitch ragle is skewered via his laughably nonsensical criticism of what should have been a good movie but falls short — America: from Freedom to Fascism (main movie site here). i’m not an apologist for America: from Freedom to Fascism, but an opponent of lies and bullshit, regardless of source.
there is a type of vermin in this country known as government apologist. no matter what government does, he will defend it — usually with a “calm down, everybody; the sky is not falling” tone that can be applied to almost any disaster if you pout enough. keep in mind as i expose this fraudulent creep that he states on his site:
Favorite Quote: The first duty of a Patriot is to question the government. – Thomas Jefferson
how that relates to him is mystery. brian ragle alleges of the preview:
The claim made here is that the US dollar only has the same purchasing power as $.04 in 1930 currency. There is no citation given or reference as to where this data was achieved. Additionally, I found it curious that the 1930 was used when anyone with a basic understanding of history knows this was the height of the Great Depression and inflation was rampant.
i’ll examine the manifold pieces of shit in that brief excerpt. the obvious joke, his hammering of the alleged 1930 data point, must give way temporarily to a bigger error. above his claim is a chart from the preview, titled “Purchasing Power of the Dollar Since 1930″, with data falling from 1.00 to .08 between 1930 and 2004 or so. the preview narration there states:
The cost of living is so high today because the Federal Reserve and the federal government have destroyed the purchasing power of the dollar. The dollar today is actually worth about 4 cents, despite the fact that the government, the Federal Reserve, and the media, keep telling us that they’re protecting the value of the dollar.
ragle the socialist dumbass liar is fucked, because the preview doesn’t claim that “the US dollar only has the same purchasing power as $.04 in 1930 currency”. the preview claims, accurately, “The dollar today is actually worth about 4 cents”. four cents in what year? well, there’s 1840, for example. and 1850. and 1860. and 1900. for one hundred years the general value of the dollar was comparatively stable. when did it get fucked? more in a minute. back to his pouting bullshit about finding it “curious that the 1930 was used when anyone with a basic understanding of history knows this was the height of the Great Depression and inflation was rampant.”
as explained, they did not use 1930 for the $.04 comparison. a glaring joke here is that even fed dipshit ben bernanke admits that the federal reserve “did” the “Great Depression”:
Let me end my talk by abusing slightly my status as an official representative of the Federal Reserve. I would like to say to Milton [friedman] and Anna [schwartz]: Regarding the Great Depression. You’re right, we did it. We’re very sorry.
but the best joke is that it’s brian ragle using 1930 to suit the bias of his demented apologia!
he sells 1930 as if using the purchasing power of a prior inflated currency would somehow be to the advantage of someone looking to stress the difference between that an even worse inflation. he’s an economics retard.
but does this then reflect poorly on the preview, since it’s using data from 1840, 1850, 1860, and 1900, for example? no. that’s the whole point — the preview is able to use the same number from all of those points (and more) because the currency was relatively stable until the federal reserved doinked up the works around 1915 (though created by tyrants in late 1913, it wasn’t screwing steady until ’15). the $.04 figure is taken from the most stable parts of the 1800s and early 1900s.
ragle the lying imbecile spouts, in typical prancing dilbert manner:
The good folks over at Economic History Services have an online calculator for currency differences between years, based around the Commodities Price Index (CPI). Their data for 1930 and today shows it takes $11.68 in modern dollars to purchase what $1 did in 1930. This is pretty low, but it certainly doesn’t equate $.04 on the dollar.
what the fuck kind of comparison is that? if you use that same site and compare a 2005 dollar with 1930, the answer is $.09. so we’re talking about the difference between the $.04 he alleges (falsely) was claimed in the preview, and $.09. sure you can do the math yourself, but it’s clear he was trying to hide the real answer by comparing $1 from 1930 forward instead of $1 from 2005 backward. why? so he could avoid stating, “okay, according to that site, it’s not $.04, but $.09.”
he’s running away from that number like a stuck pig. but the bigger scam, of course, is that the preview never claimed $.04 for 1930. if you look at the chart ragle the retard provides from the preview, it’s $.08, not $.04. the extended figure provided by his preferred site? not $.09, but $.086. in other words, the chart is basically within a half cent of his lauded reference. the chart labels don’t even go below $.07.
then there’s this inexplicable jive:
In fact, the data gets better from there. Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930:1940 – $13.90
1950 – $8.11
1960 – $6.60
1970 – $5.03
1980 – $2.37
1990 – $1.49
2000 – $1.13
c’mon. on what planet is this evidence that “[p]urchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930″? he’s smoking crack. his table is literally backward. because he’s a prancing dolt, he’s saying “[year] – [how many 2005 dollars it would take to buy $1 worth of goods in the specified year]“. of course it heads toward unity for 2005. in any case, the table obviously indicates a dropping purchasing power.
here’s a correct way to do it. amount required in specified-year-dollars to purchase a basket of goods worth $1 in 1930:
1930 — $01.00
1940 — $00.84
1950 — $01.44
1960 — $01.77
1970 — $02.32
1980 — $04.92
1990 — $07.82
2000 — $10.29
2005 — $11.68
that look like continually rising purchasing power to you?
of course not. the only point in that list with more purchasing power than 1930 is 1940. as you can see, it took over $11 last year to buy a 1930s dollar worth of goods. this is a tax. inflation of the money supply is not an accident. it is the primary purpose of the illegal federal reserve, which is most certainly a central bank, contrary to moron boy, who asserts (get this): “The ‘Fed’ as it is commonly known is not a central bank but a system of banks spread across the nation.” that the central bank has multiple branches means squat. the US government is simply making official and “tidy” the dastardly practice of currency devaluation.
so the insufferable blowhard apologist cretin brian ragle is not claiming stability for the fed; he’s claiming that the fed has increased the purchasing power of the dollar. well, you wanna see what kind of “stabilizing influence” the fed has had in the US? here ya go!
what does that skyrocket profile indicate? theft via coin clipping (inflation of the money supply). there was comparative stability from 1800 through the early 1900s, including during 1812 and the war of northern aggression (1861–1865), then WHAM — along comes the “stabilizing” influence of the federal reserve, quickly making previous blip highs regular territory, then unleashing the assault which has now devalued the dollar to, yes, 4 fucking cents, requiring in 2005 $23.13 to purchase what cost $1.00 in 1900 (and 1840 and 1850 and 1860, for example).
brian the simp:
The only thing startling about this question is that it reveals just how little people know of our government and the Constitution itself. Here, for example, is the 16th Amendment to that document, the foundation for ALL law in this country:
what socialist apologist boy doesn’t want to tell you, after his big speech about the power of the constitution, the supposedly ratified 16th amendment, and USC title 26, is that there’s more to taxation than simply the sanctified theft from the subjects by the ruling class. no, every federal official must swear to support the constitution. it’s the supreme law of the land, not the “foundation for ALL law in this country”. in other words, if a law violates the constitution, it is not law.
tenth amendment:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
the specific areas for which congress may collect taxes are enumerated in article I section 8. this was explained by james madison when he vetoed in 1817 congress’s attempt to legislate the building of federal roads and waterways for general public use. such things are prohibited by the constitution (via the 10th amendment and absence of specific power), and no amendment has been ratified to change this. a solid argument can be made that the federal government has no legal authority to print paper “money”.
probably >95% of what the federal government does today is prohibited by the supreme law of the land. is this relevant? um… yeah. even accepting as law the 16th amendment, not only is the federal government obligated to make laws to tax people as it has; it also must tax only for authorized purposes. a quick, partial list of illegal entities, and areas in which the US government is not authorized (i.e. prohibited) by the US constitution to meddle:
- education
- minimum wage laws
- social security
- health
- income redistribution
- USPS monopoly
- highways for general public use
- waterways for general public use
- gas taxes
- FBI
- BATF
- drugs (e.g., pot, heroin, alcohol, meth, cocaine) [notice that the prohibition of alcohol required a constitutional amendment, but the tyrants just said "to hell with it" by the time they wanted to run their "controlled substances" scam.]
- FAA
- TSA
- SEC
- banking
- porn
- “driver’s licenses”
- state highway speeds
- blood alcohol content
- DOT
- “price gouging”
- etc.
it’s a serious problem. that “price gouging” one is tragic, considering tax victims may not claim “tax gouging” — the only real gouging of the two. everything the fed goons call “price gouging” is for voluntary transactions (i.e., nobody’s holding a gun to the customer’s head, unlike what the fed goons do if you don’t pay “your” “taxes”).
does the great “debunker” retard mention the 10th amendment? of course not. he’s a socialist control freak for whom liberty means “under the control of the federal government”. he considers the US supreme court to be the primary legislative branch of the US. the constitution, however, doesn’t agree; it constrains the power of the federal judiciary to cases.
on to “executive orders”, which the simp gimp babbles about for a while. you will not find in the constitution authority given to the executive branch to create legislation — which is usually what an “executive order” is. it’s unconstitutional in most cases, and any bastard trying to legislate via executive order should be impeached immediately. the first law of the constitution is “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
note that the word “all” in law is not open to “interpretation” or “living documentese”.
the poser boy calls discussion of “Real ID” to be a “fear-mongering bit of propaganda”, even while the catastrophe against liberty this disaster represents is already here. the fed goons have illegally made it so that you can’t bank without submitting to a colonoscopy. eventually, you will not be able to get a job or engage in overt commerce without being stamped and branded by the feds.
just take a few seconds to consider the potential of this power for tyranny. compute what it will do to dissent. we’re talking about the same goons who’ve routinely used the FBI and IRS to hassle political opponents or thorns in the side. you cannot trust government. they aren’t angels sent from heaven. imagine how it will be when you basically can’t do jack squat without this illegal piece of federal branding, a monstrosity in sheep’s clothing that, of course, violates the supreme law of the land. few of those sworn to support that supreme law have done so.

I want to personally thank you so much for setting yourself up as the perfect representative of the kind of low-brow, unthinking, mongeloid who would follow Russo’s outrageously false claims. You provide a clear comparison between those of us who actually think things through and those who think they can use playground language to actually make a point.
July 29th, 2006 at 16:15
think things through
c’mon. don’t dig yourself deeper, doctor dunce. there’s nothing you can say except “busted”. you fucked up, shooting your mouth off on subjects of which you’re worse than ignorant — stupid ignorant! LOL. happy to expose you and every other dumb, bootlicking motherfucker like you. keep yapping. this one might reach cult status:
“Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930:”
you should make that your “favorite quote”. you wrote it. it’s laughably wrong. you, however, are one of those “who actually think things through”. hahahaha!
let’s enjoy this one more time:
“Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930:”
ROFLMAO
and you’re the liar who asserted of the movie preview, “The claim made here is that the US dollar only has the same purchasing power as $.04 in 1930 currency.”
complete, proven bullshit. turned out the preview was correct on that score (as explained in my post), and you were wrong. yet rather than retract and apologize like an honorable man, you spout more errors and attempt to insult your superior. are you wearing a tie, right now? LOL
know what’s fallacious ad hominem? considering that mentioning with more false crap only my attitude, playground language, etc., composes a refutation. that’s the part i enjoy most — that your only refuge is fallacy.
low-brow, unthinking, mongeloid who would follow Russo’s outrageously false claims.
aw, you’re looking to get spanked some more? what an unobservant dumbass you are. keep it coming, vapor pussy. more refutations where that came from, including of your new socialist swimming pool pal jason peck, perhaps — and yes, this is hard to believe — and even bigger bullshit-spewing, vacant tool than you. “Libertarian for Kansas House” my ass. no libertarian remains unopposed to the inflation tax of the illegal federal reserve, much less defends it with tripe.
he’ll have the sense, unlike you, to take his spanking like a man.
consider all future emails publishable, dork. you’re going to publicly renounce your errors, or publicly soak in ‘em. opening your unprepared schoolboy yapper was the first mistake. if you think this post covered all your errors, better switch schools.
consider thinking before you write, fucker. (<<< bad word)

It is surprising that you so blatantly criticize and abuse another under such a cowardly cloak. The joke is on you. Thanks for the laugh…good going Brian Ragle, you have lit a fire and when the flames are burning the pigs we all get to enjoy the ham. :)
August 5th, 2006 at 10:11
great. another flaming dumbass.
It is surprising that you
what do you mean — “surprising”? do you know me? listen to yourself. soon as you open your mouth, out comes rhetorical bullshit.
so blatantly criticize and abuse another under such a cowardly cloak.
what the fuck is that supposed to mean? “cowardly cloak”? that means nothing, of course. you’re blathering and posing, attempting to pretend away the truth. there is no “cloak”. my real name is all over this site, and i included it and my location in my email to dipshit boy as soon as i posted. not only are you wrong in your idiocy, but it’s not relevant in any case. you, as RR, are spouting fallacious crap to mimic a defense. why? because what you’re pretending to defend isn’t defensible.
The joke is on you.
is that the villain’s line from a shitty movie you wrote? please explain, logically and explicitly, how “the joke” is on me. you have as much space as you need in the comments here. go for it. long as you’re not spamming or vandalizing, it won’t be deleted.
August 6th, 2006 at 18:27
Way to go Saltypig! I didn’t think anyone detested Brian anymore than I did, but I think you may. You have hit the nail right on the coffin. Brian is a first rate government apologist, a shill if there ever was one. I can’t believe someone so ignorant about taxes would spend so much time and energy trying “spin” the income tax issue. He obviously is ignorant about key statutes in the tax code, about Supreme Court decisions and points out tax court and circuit court cases when any one with any sense knows that neither tax court or circuit court can stand up to the Supreme Court decisions. He is one of the biggest lackeys I have seen on the tax issue. I couldn’t have said it any better myself Salty!
August 6th, 2006 at 18:54
thanks for the comment.
I can’t believe someone so ignorant about taxes would spend so much time and energy trying “spin” the income tax issue.
it’s his primary attention grope for his shitty blog. the guy writes like a hack; what else is he gonna do?
He obviously is ignorant about [...]
i just reread his “height of the Great Depression and inflation was rampant” claim. i don’t think he even knows what the economics definition of inflation is, or the timing of inflation/deflation in the late 20s and early 30s. he really fucked up picking that 1930 year for himself, considering the movie preview hadn’t said shit about it for the $.04 number. BTW, did you know that 1930 was the “height of the Great Depression”? LOL. neither did i. that bullshit, of course, came after his “anyone with a basic understanding of history knows” pose.
He is one of the biggest lackeys I have seen on the tax issue.
looks… well, damned pussified in a tie though — a mama’s boy.
August 6th, 2006 at 20:04
Thanks for the traffic to my website. Granted, you don’t actually provide much quality, but the numbers are good.
August 6th, 2006 at 21:24
don’t worry; most people know immediately that you’re a blogwhore. and i’m going to keep that traffic headed your way too, including via such wonderful googles as this. ROFL. “Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930″
genius! please let the world know the dates and location of your first economics conference. i want to send a video crew to capture the gems. example:
“Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930″
~ brian ragle, economics retard
August 16th, 2006 at 11:56
At themovieblog.com, in a thread about “America, Freedom to Fascism,” brian ragle posted:
“The only thing shocking about this movie is how stupid Aaron Russo must believe Americans are if they are to be taken in by his conspiracy theories of a coming global empire. All the details of debunking even the 15 minute preview of the movie can be found at my site.”
My reply:
“All the details of debunking even 15 words of brian ragle’s website can be found here:
http://saltypig.com/blog/2006/07/brian-ragle-poser-dumbass.htm
“Brian, don’t blame saltypig for this post. Having just read your post, I wondered ‘who the hell is this asshole,’ and googled you, and discovered that someone else had not only wondered the same thing, but had already written up a very informative answer.”
August 16th, 2006 at 15:45
Way to go Salty! Brian is one of the stupidest people I have had the displeasure to come across. What a moron! He really stuck his foot up his ass to the thigh with that inane and incomprehensible statement;”The purchasing power of the dollar has risen steadily since 1930.” UN-F-ING-BELIEVABLE! You can’t teach that kind of stupid, you got to be born with it. Brian, you are the stupidest person on the planet.
August 16th, 2006 at 15:45
LOL. very glad you were able to find this site by googling that idjit’s name!
August 16th, 2006 at 16:18
Salty, I just went back there and poked them with a stick. Ragle’s site is even funnier that the Onion, except his is trying to be serious. I can’t believe there are people out there with a supposed education that can’t even grasp elementary economic principles. Obviously there are though, or we wouldn’t find ourselves in this emerging police state.
August 16th, 2006 at 16:47
bill, perhaps the worst part about that fucking idiot, even beyond the joke screwups and sanctimony, is that he thinks he’s a good writer. speaking of writing, here’s what i want on his tombstone:
“Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930“
that will be his primary contribution to economics “advancement”.
maybe one day, poser boy state lover will meet one of his victims directly and get what he deserves for embracing force. i think jesus is alleged to have said something about such a meeting.
August 16th, 2006 at 17:11
Are you kidding? He actually thinks he is a good writer? Well, I guess it follows as he also thinks he is a Constitutional scholar, an economic genius and quite witty. I am of the opposite opinion.
August 16th, 2006 at 19:34
Thanks saltypig! The government bootlicker loses all credibility with his rediculous assertion that “Purchasing power of the US dollar has continually risen since 1930.” What a fucking joke. Some of the bootlickers are just in denial others are total dumbasses. Brian ragle is…um …um …a dumbass, as is swr. A little history lesson and some readings from our founding fathers could seriously help these dumbasses, which would obviously help us all.
Experience hath shown, that even under the best forms [of government] those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.-Thomas Jefferson
The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.-Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.-Thomas Jefferson
Those who cannot see tyranny approaching faster than ever must wake up, but most people WANT to remain ignorant because they don’t have the balls to do anything about the fascists. People don’t mind taking it from the man as long as the man allows them a nice home in the suburbs, a full belly, and a decent pick in their fantasy football draft this season.
August 16th, 2006 at 20:17
People don’t mind taking it from the man as long as the man allows them a nice home in the suburbs, a full belly, and a decent pick in their fantasy football draft this season.
i spent months at the IMDb V for Vendetta board listening to one sheep after another talk about how the people in the movie “didn’t have it so bad”. that was one of the genius moves of the filmmakers — those who put up with the tyranny were allowed pubs, TV, and seemingly nice homes; government had tamed the animals with candy.
August 17th, 2006 at 00:51
Yes, Brian Ragle is a total dumbass! I usually don’t like calling people those names, but Brian is very deserving of all of the foul language we can come up with. He is a lying cocksucking whore from where there is no return. I finally realized why he is so hell bent on focusing on the income tax issue. The reason why is because of $$$$$$$$$$$! Brian has stated on Quatloos, another pro-Government, pro-IRS propoganda site, that he has plans to write a book on Tax Protestors! Now I know why is so rigid in his views, he is not trying to seek the truth, he is trying to retire early with a book deal on the Tax Protest movement. He is one sick fuck. I wouldn’t doubt if he is related to that homosexual Karl Rove. Brian, I hope you get sodomized by an AIDS infected hippo!
August 17th, 2006 at 06:20
do hippos have big schlongs? like, really big? bigger than the anal rape of USG?
because it already appears brian ragle likes being raped by big cock (he’s an anal rape advocate, obviously), so maybe you’re wishing down the wrong alley.
January 27th, 2007 at 00:46
Salty Pig, I dont know who you are, or even how I found myself at your page, but I have to say I found your postings very entertaining. I agree, Brian Ragle is a bootlicker. Keep up the good work.
For those of you who haven’t seen the movie, why not watch it (the whole movie) before you decide whether you its agreeable or not.
January 27th, 2007 at 01:40
glad you stopped by, liz.
