tattoo bleh
with all the “brand me a tool” trend-o-nitwits running around with tattoos lately, i didn’t think i’d ever see a tattoo i thought was worth a damn. still wouldn’t get one, but this is probably the first i’ve seen that i thought was halfway cool. it’s from an incidental character in the Firefly episode “Out of Gas“.
as with music, i like the understated asymmetry and easy lines. designed a lamp for high school shop class, and the first thing the teacher noted was that it wasn’t symmetrical — like that was a tragedy or something. LOL. godDAMN, did i hate school.
