D.E.B.S.
found this movie while looking at jill ritchie’s IMDb profile last year, after seeing her in an episode of Arrested Development. 
she has this sexy mouth and fucked up speech thing, with legs that wrap around ya twice. (you’d never know it, but she’s also kid rock’s sister.) passed the DVD case in video stores now and then, and just this week found it for sale at a price that worked.
it’s one of those stupid flicks that knows exactly what it is, and looks damned good being it. cartoony fun. too bad it bombed at the box office.

some surprising class in this thing, which easily broke out of the charlie’s angels hack genre with a mildly serious (kinda believable) lesbian theme, favoring romance over hype. instead of doing the preachy, painful, “lezbos are really just normal people” bullshit, the film really did let them be normal people (superhero style anyway). damn, but it’s a fresh breeze compared to what it could have been. and even though the writer/director/editor is apparently part of the typical lez warrior scene, she let the characters have some good fun giving shit to the gay character about being gay. that’s the way to do it, gay people; if you want people to treat you as not essentially different, you have to take shit about your characteristics, same as everybody else. in other words, being queer is not a fucking religion, you assholes. good job, angela robinson (despite a stereotypically “gay activist” comment here and there when talking about the movie), a gay woman who apparently doesn’t have much of a problem with men finding scantily dressed women sinfully delicious, same as her.
if you see this DVD for sale or rent, give it a go. goddamn, even if you don’t like the story, how can you complain about an entire flick composed of world class trim running around in catholic schoolgirl outfits, with some tastefully restrained fem/fem kisses thrown in? huh? i fucking double dare your pussy ass to not like this movie.
