milfare tribute
those of you who loathe/despise the modern US military as much as i do will get a perplexing jam in the head if venturing to my YouTube channel, where i’ve begun a series of video gushes to the US navy (that’s the outcome anyway).
been sitting on these tapes for 10 years now. had big problems with “desert storm” in the 90s, but being politically clueless, and gah-gah over turbine engines, i didn’t foresee the current wreck in all its hungry, denying color. if anybody’s wondering why i’d be making these videos, write it off to tomcat madness, the pain of procrastination, and my new laptop.
here’s my latest. carrier aviation geeks had better put on their thinking caps in the weeks ahead, because i have video and details they may never have been seen or heard, along with some launch and recovery clips that are about as good as the usual carrier documentary, maybe better in rare spots (less the in-flight shots). but i doubt anybody has the interview i do, of a meatball geek spilling his guts and lighting up the gizmo itself. lawdy, laws. i smite, you smite, he smites — we done smote!
