"The Davidian Massacre"

carol moore has sent out a mass email about her book which is still for sale. she was my first real exposure to understanding the crimes of the US federal government, and i’ll never forget that, nor her passion and detailed knowledge of the murders and other destruction at mt. carmel. somewhat on a lark, as a new and confused “libertarian” in 2001, i showed up to protest with her and a handful of others outside the white house on the 8th anniversary of the BATF attack. she told me things i found hard to believe, but which i later confirmed by reading roughly half of the ~8,000 page survivor trial transcript. in that brief period outside the white house, i also saw behavior from a “secret service” goon that sickened me.

haven’t read her book; the transcript was almost more than i could take. however, if you’re not aware of the real details of the massacre — which only surfaced long after the public didn’t give a shit (having received up the ass the swill fed them by BATF and FBI through the obedient “fourth estate”) — please consider supporting carol’s work while also learning an important terrorism “metric”: what foul depths these parasites are comfortable sinking to, then thriving in. since the US federal government is the world’s largest criminal syndicate, you should know that enemy better than you might desire:

Around this time of year I always get a few inquiries about and orders for my book THE DAVIDIAN MASSACRE. I still have a couple boxes of the book left, so thought I’d remind you all it is still available.
The book is a systematic analysis of ATF and FBI crimes. It draws on government and news sources, trial and 1995 congressional transcripts, and interviews with experts and participants, including extensive contacts with Davidian survivors and prisoners.
It is a mass market paperback, 487 pages, plus 20 pages of graphics and incriminating FBI photographs, as well as photos I took of federal perpetrators from the 1995 Congressional hearings.
THE DAVIDIAN MASSACRE is only $12.00 first class USA. $9.00 each for 2-4 copies. Email me for other discounts. Use paypal which takes credit cards and tell me how you want it signed!

Reviews:
“Carol Moore has done more research on Waco than anyone else. Her book pulls together many of the most shocking details of government abuses that a reader cannot find anywhere else.” James Bovard, author of Lost Rights ….

“I am indebted to Carol Moore’s well-documented work, The Davidian Massacre: Disturbing Questions About Waco Which Must Be Answered (1995)”. Ambrose Evans-Prichard in notes in his The Secret Life of Bill Clinton

carol’s never forgotten the mt. carmel assault victims, and has probably done more than anyone to keep these crimes visible to those who’d prefer to forget what the criminals did. she’s also shown the truth to others who weren’t eager to get into it. i was one of those people. protesting with her, i felt somewhat embarrassed spending energy commemorating people i knew only as religious whack jobs who were strong gun rights defenders, and protesting for their release from prison. with carol’s unapologetic beginning, i went and learned.

we should remember these people, the happiness they had in that home (recorded well enough on videos that FBI conspirators insisted not be released, for fear public opinion would go against them), and the treacherous, stone cold lies they were told by FBI “negotiators”. a 5-year-old child would have out-negotiated those vermin, who near the end — on tape which you can hear yourself — told the people inside that home that if they left they’d be in serious danger. never heard that one during those “press” briefings, did you? these were the dead whose memory was pummeled with millions of ignorant saps whinnying, “why didn’t they just come out?”

ashamed to admit that i was one of those; in 1993 i argued publicly and noisily on behalf of the fedgoons. even with the press distortion, there was no excuse for that. i sometimes recall those exchanges, and how i thought the guy arguing against the government was 100% wrong and loony. i wasn’t happy about the outcome of the “waco standoff”, but it really didn’t bother me that much. sick.

if you have an overall poor opinion of the branch davidians, as i did, please give carol’s book a chance, in the process supporting an important modern historical force who’s never given up on this issue and many others. i wonder how many people would have the balls to go to DC and confront these sinister assholes to their faces. ever done it? not as easy as some assume. carol has demonstrated such strength consistently.

I’m reflexively skeptical of any explanation offered by the government that could possibly be construed as self-serving. Even so, your revelation that the gov’t players in this incident advised the Davidians not to come out is new to me, and shocking.

When they said it wasn’t safe for them to come out, were they telling them that if they came out that the gov’t types were likely to shoot them or that there was a mob that wanted vigilante justice (and that they, the gov’t, might not be able to control them) or something else? This is really mind-blowing.

Admittedly I haven’t assiduously studied the Waco disaster, but I’m still surprised that I’ve never read that before.

the threat from the FBI was concerning their aggression. i think all the non-uniformed mobs surrounding mt. carmel were anti-government (pro victim), similar to the ruby ridge seige.

gave my copy to somebody, so i can’t easily confirm exactly what was said, but, far as i recall (98% sure), here is the doc where i heard that conversation between — if i recall corectly — steve schneider and the FBI “negotiator”. judging from the voice, i think the FBI twat was truly frustrated with the games his bosses were playing. notably, as is usually the case, he stayed on the payroll nonetheless.

on 19 april 1993, the day of the final massacre, in time with the CS assault, FBI apparently stated over loudspeakers “if you come out now, you will not be harmed.” that was around the same time as the classic “this is not an assault” announcement, as tanks were tearing the shit out of their home, spraying caustic, highly flammable particulate inside (though called CS gas, i think it was all in powder form, mixed with something else for delivery). chronology here.

if it’s important to you, and you’d rather not buy the doc or search too much, let me know and i’ll see if i can track down a transcript of that phone conversation.

Thanks. I’m going to have to poke around a bit and read some more. This is really a mind blower.

    And I thought I’d heard,read, and seen it all…

here’s a quick bullet list i made from my research recollection, much of it based on the transcript from government’s trial of the survivors. it’s not exhaustive, but has some more things not commonly known.

in a just society there would have been trials and executions of scores of badged/suited thugs. in this society they escaped after having written the history.
