nah, he adopted this one as supposed evidence that he’s not a “racist” (whatever that means). he also claimed that martin king and rosa parks are heroes of his because they practiced “civil disobedience to try to get the burden of government off our backs”.
was not martin king one of the biggest proponents of “civil rights legislation” bringing in mountains of new coercion against peaceful civilians, including prohibiting private race discrimination? martin king didn’t advocate a coercive wage floor?

of course he’s a hero of coercion boy ron, who’s happily and apparently unapologetically fleeced millions by threatening them with death if they didn’t obediently serve up their portion of his eminence’s congressional salary.
rosa parks is nearly pure myth. she was a cherry-picked and fully supported plant for trial purposes, and far from doing nothing substantial to let the media know she wasn’t the brave trailblazer alleged, apparently fed diversion fodder to the contrary. her behavior was disgusting enough, but then you get suckup ron paul continuing the myth for personal rehabilitation in his scarily breathless rant to wolf blitzer. what about irene morgan? and though it requires sidestepping the inconvenient subject of NAACP strategy, he could have at least picked claudette colvin or one of the others who preceded the rosa parks doll.
when it was time for ron paul to practice “civil disobedience”, refusing to be conscripted for an illegal war, ronnie figured the paycheck was a better decision than a jail cell or canada.
