I agree that he seems like he’s lying there. But I think I believe him that he didn’t write them; but he likely knows who did and doesn’t want to say, and it’s unlikely he could be that ignorant of what was written there.

you should see the looks i get when i assert that the real threatened penalty for smoking “illegally” on your property is death. from pennies for RP to a sound night’s sleep for the neighborhood control freak, the cost is always a mass material death threat.
there’s a sick nugget hidden away in their incredulity. that the proposition seems absurd to them is testament to the effectiveness of the threat. mass murder? absurd!
