Bill Gates and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg announced on Wednesday that they would spend $500 million to stop people around the world from smoking.
“stop”, as in force. “force?” you ask? takes more reading to get to the gun, but it’s there. notice that, in typical dullard practice, the core thing here is that they’re going to spend money. oh, and how much. that’s all that matters to idiots. good faith effort! throw money down a well.

[...]It will urge governments to sharply raise tobacco taxes, prohibit smoking in public places, outlaw advertising to children and cigarette giveaways, start antismoking advertising campaigns and offer people nicotine patches or other help quitting. Health officials, consumer advocates, journalists, tax officers and others from third world countries will be brought to the United States for workshops on topics like lobbying, public service advertising, catching cigarette smugglers and running telephone help lines for smokers wanting to quit. Dr. Richard Peto, an Oxford epidemiologist who leads studies on the effects of smoking in the developing world, called the announcement “excellent news.”
“I reckon this will avoid tens of millions of deaths in my lifetime and hundreds of millions in my kids’ lifetimes,” he said.

never mind the deaths from those who refuse to participate and are then killed by cop.
“killed by cop!” you say. “ridiculous!”
that’s where nearly every edict by the state naturally ends if one does not bow. from “speeding” tickets to smoking bans, if you don’t agree to any of it (including the supposed slap on the wrist or whatever), these violent fuckers will kill you. rightfully resist kidnapping and you will be killed. only through fluke or escape is this destiny thwarted.
of course, the official criminal syndicate hates for things to get to that point, since it exposes the stick overmuch. but they’ll do it. the only thing preventing full exposure is that nearly everyone buckles at some point before or during the final kidnapping.
has always freaked me out how astonished the average person is when this is explained; he sputters, he complains, he rails, and he cannot refute it. he shakes his head furiously, pronounces the teller of truth “crazy”, and walks away pissed off at his inability to swat away the threat hanging over nearly all — the threat bill gates wishes to increase.
only under an official crime syndicate could this horrid, criminally violent act be lauded as philanthropy.
