i composed the name saltypig in ’95. i know of no precursors, yet that name is now used by others on the internet. i should be able to show up at the home of one of these “thieves”, display my sidearm, and tell him that if he doesn’t stop using “my” name i’ll lock him in a cage for a spell. right?
the process would necessarily be disguised and expanded to make it palatable for the average person (violent moron). edicts, systematic theft, buildings, uniforms, seals, and similar impedimenta are required. and since distribution of the threat is essential, i should not be the person showing up at doors. however, who does show is hired and following my orders, so he needn’t bother with whether it’s right to threaten those he threatens. he’s “only doing his job” — twin brother of the nuremberg defense basically driving all mob tyranny. hooligans by proxy.
