AVG 9 blows
was a happy user of free AVG antivirus for years. crazy how a company can with a single horrible “upgrade” piss away a reputation. AVG 9 sucks. error flags from nowhere. multiple pointless reboots that solve nothing. two separate utility downloads to try to unscrew program-created errors.
even uninstalling was a 30-minute pain in the ass. AVG has apparently decided to become the next wearer of the symantec bloatware bullshitters crown, and their forum moderators [update: user volunteers, just learned] are more concerned with swatting users on the hand for not including enough information — soup nazi stye. AVG should be embarrassed.
