“large number”. which means… ?
from a brief check it appears that the world population of persian jews is generally estimated at under 200,000, with the goonited state portion rising perhaps as high as 100,000. if that number’s anywhere near accurate, the proportion of persian jews in the GS is less than 4/100 of a percent.
