watch the falsely labeled “libertarians” fawn and be teased over whether their cult leader will deign to aim for a position no man has a right to hold.

Ron Paul 2012?

Posted by Thomas Woods on March 6, 2010 08:53 AM

Here I figured out a way to ask this question that he couldn’t answer with “it’s too early to say….” [...]

“oh, ron — er, Dr. Paul… cutesy me once again, my lover. deny the core principle i aver. use my wealth to that end. let me man-crush you into history. i will cheer. i will shout your name. show us salvation via the state, as only you can.

[whisper] “bless the coming and going of him.”

Wasn’t it obvious from that blog post that the desire for Ron Paul to run has absolutely nothing to do with the hope or expectation that he would actually be elected? Wasn’t it clear that the point was simply to keep spreading the libertarian message?

next, i’m going to spread the peace message by invading iraq.

oh shit… that one’s taken. okay, then i’m going to spread the message of liberty by telling everyone why i should be the head goon…

    oh shit.

Your analogies might be apt if you’re asserting Ron Paul expects to be elected, which you know is not the case.

Fact of the matter is, the presidential race has undeniably been a more effective way of spreading the libertarian message than, for example, this site.

if only you knew how achingly stupid you are, sophist-wannabe dolt.
