if you like superior music and lots o’ vintage talkin’ ’bout monkeys, get to underworld amusements for the mencken/scopes podcast from kevin slaughter. oh, and mencken.

don’t like “Yes! We Have No Bananas” as much as most people, but in episode 5 (Yearning Mountaineers’ Souls Need Reconversion Nightly, Mencken Finds), The Pied Pipers nearly turn me into a believer. turbocharged excellence.
