she told me that they were getting calls about this, and she could only pass along the information she'd been given, which was that they cannot confirm. however, in any case, it involves the NSA (oooh!), and therefore is "classified". man, did that fucking cunt get an earful, including something directly from me to her (not her as a company rep).

upon reflection, i am now considering their failure to deny, and the utterly bullshit invocation of "classified" to be solid confirmation. goddamned sick that in the same speech, the woman began by assuring me that my privacy was of the highest concern to verizon. fucking lying chimps. in my 3 minutes on the phone, i was assured twice that they value my privacy. bullshit. right in line with the company hags:

i will not remain a verizon customer, no matter what i have to do. this is unsat.
