guns, OMG!

just took a quick scan of 4 articles/posts on rapper DMX that mention in the headline some bullshit about guns being found in the raid on his home (for dogs, of course). as usual, not one stated what the problem with such a thing is, though they were steadily pummeling truth with the usual fear words such as cache, stockpile, and assault-style (whatever the fuck that means).

to hell with badged criminals, and fuck the deficient press. does anyone in the MSM have a brain anymore? mentioning that guns were found in a home is normally no more relevant than if the linen closet had a "stockpile" of 20 kleenex boxes. children with pubes, on parade. usual story.

well listen up, dumbasses around the world: in most of the US there's no even illegal law directly limiting the number of guns or rounds of ammo you own. so when the goons break down doors and then trumpet that they found however many guns, you're only being a dishonest parrot passing on their inane statements without challenge. cops are overwhelmingly gun fetishists, who love to pretend that you're a criminal because you like guns, own them, carry them "legally", etc. I run into these scumbags regularly. when called on it they either run away or get louder in their confused, slowly dawning recognition that they're wrong and criminal — badged criminal behavior 101. one jock-type moron virginia state trooper last year squealed his wheels in a parking lot driving away from me as i stood by his door drilling his stupid ass, he was so hurt by having his illegality called out. he'd just admitted that if he saw me in a store parking lot near a school, with a handgun on my passenger seat, he'd ignore it unless i argued with him about something — in which case he'd kidnap me for violating federal "law". uh oh, here she comes again!
"Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against — then you'll know that this is not the age for beautiful gestures. We're after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you'd better get wise to it. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted — and you create a nation of law-breakers — and then you cash in on guilt. Now, that's the system, Mr. Rearden, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."
in the case of the virginia state goon, i was to be imprisoned not for carrying a handgun, but for arguing with him. the cited violation, however, would be 100% gun related. and people say ayn rand was full of shit.

How about this for badged criminals with a love for over reaction and intimidation. I live in Santa Rosa Ca and run a local park several times a week. Today on the trial I was passed by a police car which in and of itself is unusual since I have never seen the police in the park. As I head around the corner there are five police cars lined up on the side of the trial and at least five cops wondering around. Each one had at least two side arms and one had and M-16 strapped across his chest. I asked a park ranger near by what was going on and it appeared that some airhead thought they saw a cougar cub hiding under a boulder. It took at least five cops, a cache, and a stockpile of assault-style weapons to determine that is was nothing more than a rock under a rock with bad lighting.

To serve and protect...my arse. I ran past these sorry out a shape bastards barely able to stop myself from laughing. A bunch of fat cops protecting us from ill lighted rocks...Ha.

I've come to the conclusion that most of these guys are cops because they could get into the lucrative career of mob thuggery...or maybe they did.
