quote of the week

sorry, but it's the finish of the article — a practice i tend to avoid. don't read farther if you haven't checked out this article and would like to. james bovard:
[...] And if Bush refuses to restrain himself, Americans should remember the wisdom of Thomas Jefferson. Sometimes the threat of a noose is the best way to keep the peace.
morally, bush and plenty of other serial mass murderers should be put to death; however, no good can come of it except by mass revolt. unpopular, just assassinations rarely do anything but make the assassin look like a loser, and the justly offed tyrant a martyr. hell, look at king lincoln. that fuckface should've been killed years before he was, but poor wilkes booth was all PR failure. on the other hand, it was probably strongly related to his bad timing and even worse reasoning (rabidly pro slavery).

but no, still far too many deluded twats in the US for bush to get what he deserves. he is off the hook, and that's how that one goes. know who i blame? the goddamned mexkins! somebody git me a federal ass wipin' rag... er, i mean flag.
